Interesting experiment: Create a robot to trade stocks based on the twitter feed of the President, to see how the President’s tweets affect the stock market. Feels like more of an appetizer than the meal, though. (Any affects on the market would be short term at best, no? And if the President is enriching himself from his office, there are FAR more lucrative ways to do it… See past Planet Money episode on the Emoluments Clause.) Still cool, though. Want to see what happens.
