Depressing.
Every podcast I listen to, as I listen to them (plus my thoughts when I have a moment).
Depressing.
Here’s a complain you’d think I might have more often about a podcast (primarily) about architecture and design: I had a really hard time visualizing what they were talking about. 99% Invisible is usually pretty good at selecting (and producing) stories where you forget it’s audio, because the imagery is so evocative, even when it’s being described to you… This one, not so much. Interesting, but frustrating.
Good ep filled with stuff you don’t know, as usual, but this one felt more like a Radiolab than a 99% Invisible. If you know what I mean. (You don’t? Oh. The design angle of this episode felt a little more subsurface than usual. It’s there, but you hate to dig for it a bit more.)
